“Yonder” by Eye Candy Quilts is easy enough for beginners but will engage all skill levels with its’ use of color placement and tools. A fun quilt that can be made in so many different colorways. You can use templates as provided in the pattern or some of the many rulers and guides on the market. Each 1 hour session will explain block assembly including cutting and construction, along with use of templates and rulers you can use while making this quilt and troubleshooting so you have an easy time with construction. Sewing machines are not required as this will be a discussion and demo class with actual quilt construction done on the participates’ time schedule in their own home.

Skill Level: beginner
Skill Details: Confident Beginner and beyond.
Requirements: Basic knowledge of rotary cutting, your own copy of pattern and supplies listed on the pattern booklet.
Instructor: Kelly Hoyle
Instructor Bio: Kelly was taught how to sew by her grandmother when she was 8 years old and has never stopped. She worked for local wedding designers for over 10 years and taught herself how to quilt over 30 years ago. She has taught quilting and sewing in the Chicago City Colleges, and at various quilt shops over the years. She loves traditional patterns with a modern flair.
